After three years of part-time grad school my wife and I have finally completed all requirements for our MSEE degrees — last night was the last class of our final course (we’ve been going to grad school together and took the same course this last semester). We started grad school almost immediately after we returned home from our honeymoon, so for the first time in our marriage we’re not in grad school and can move on with our lives. No more weekends spent doing homework all day. No more staying late at work on days when we don’t have class in order to make up for time we have to take off on days we do have class. No more driving to another state to attend class. No more getting home from class after 10 at night. No more 3 hour exams. What are we going to do with all of this extra free time?
Since we are not going to work on a doctorate that means school’s out…forever!
